01 / Local accountability

Know who will answer after the ladders leave

A local address is a starting point. The more useful question is who takes responsibility for your job: the person explaining the inspection, the company on the contract, the crew supervisor and the contact for a warranty concern.

Trust Proof Roofing LLC is a founder-led company based in Suffield. Before work starts, ask us to walk you through your scope, project contact and follow-up process. You should know how to reach the company standing behind your installation.

02 / The warranty stack

Compare what is covered, not just the biggest number

Workmanship and manufacturer protection answer different questions. Ask for both documents, the exact product and the conditions that apply to your home.

20-year

In-house workmanship

Trust Proof’s separate workmanship warranty on roof replacements, subject to the written agreement. This is the installation promise from the company doing your work.

Limited Lifetime

Applicable IKO manufacturer warranty

For eligible products and owners. Manufacturer coverage concerns the product under its terms; it is separate from our workmanship warranty.

15-year

IKO Iron Clad protection

The 180-month Iron Clad period for qualifying IKO Dynasty shingles and eligible original individual owners of single-family homes, under IKO’s written terms.

These periods are not added together. Product, installation, ownership, exclusions and transfer conditions affect coverage. Other products and ownership situations can have different terms. Read the official IKO Limited Warranty and your separate Trust Proof workmanship agreement before signing.

03 / Customer care & quality

Five-star care should show up in the details

Reviews are a starting point. Look for how a roofer communicates, explains the work, protects the property and responds when a homeowner has questions.

With Trust Proof, ask to review the property-protection and cleanup plan alongside the installation scope. Clear communication, documented changes and a final review of the work belong in the conversation before the job begins.

04 / Free 3D inspection

See the reason before you buy the roof

A recommendation should connect to something you can see and understand. Our free 3D roof inspection helps document your roof so we can explain the findings and discuss the right next step, without an obligation to hire us.

See the condition

Ask for photos and an explanation of the problem. A leak location alone does not tell you the whole roof needs replacing.

Understand the options

Ask whether a targeted repair is reasonable, what a replacement would address and what uncertainty remains until work starts.

Keep a written scope

Compare roof areas, materials, flashing, ventilation, decking allowances and exclusions. Know how additional work would be agreed.

05 / Registration, insurance & crew accountability

Verify the company. Ask about the crew.

Trust Proof’s Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor registration is HIC.0703927. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Before work begins, ask for the coverage applicable to your project and the crew doing the work.

Use that same standard with every bidder: verify the registered business name, confirm current coverage and ask who supervises employees or subcontractors on site. A badge on a website is not a substitute for the documents relevant to your job.

06 / Roof replacements only

Best Price & Value Guarantee

Bring us a current written roof replacement quote. We will compare equivalent materials, installation scope, workmanship, warranty coverage, insurance coverage and overall value, then work to provide our best price and value on that comparable basis. We will explain the comparison and any revised offer in writing before you decide.

Read the complete guarantee terms

Who and what qualifies

This offer applies to residential roof replacement proposals from Trust Proof Roofing within our Connecticut service area. Request the comparison before signing our replacement contract. Repairs, emergency temporary work and work already contracted or completed are outside this offer.

What to provide

Provide a genuine, itemized written proposal from a properly registered and insured roofing contractor for the same property. The proposal must still be valid and available to you when we review it. You may redact unrelated personal or financial information. We need the contractor, quote date, validity period, total price, scope, exclusions and warranty terms to make a fair comparison.

How we compare

We compare the same roof areas and quantities; material manufacturer, product and grade; tear-off and disposal; decking allowances and extra-work rates; underlayment, flashing and ventilation; permits; installation requirements; property protection and cleanup; workmanship standards; manufacturer and workmanship warranty coverage; liability and workers’ compensation coverage for the work; and the total payable price, including applicable taxes and mandatory fees. Financing costs, optional upgrades and conditional discounts are identified separately. Differences must be documented, not assumed.

What we promise

We will review the comparable scope, identify price and value differences, and provide our best written offer for that comparison. Any proposed scope change will be identified for your agreement. The guarantee is this documented comparison and offer; it is not an unconditional lowest-price promise, an automatic price match, a percentage discount or a cash-back offer.

When quotes differ

If information is missing or the scopes are not equivalent, we will explain what is needed or different. We will not treat omitted work, reduced coverage or a different product as an equal comparison. You may provide an updated comparable quote for review before contracting.

Your decision and follow-through

Call (959) 333-8569 to request the comparison. If our response omits the promised written comparison, ask for an owner review and we will complete or correct it before you decide. You have no obligation to hire us. Only the price, scope and validity period in our final written offer apply; accepted work is governed by the signed contract and separate written warranties. This offer does not reduce your rights under that contract or applicable law.

Put competing proposals on the same page

Whether you are considering Trust Proof Roofing, J.P. Carroll or another contractor, compare the written proposal for your home. Company size alone does not establish installation quality or value.

Questions Connecticut homeowners ask

How do I choose the best roofing company in Connecticut?

Start with accountability: identify the company, your project contact and who responds after the work. Then compare written scope, workmanship and manufacturer warranties, customer care, inspection findings, registration, applicable insurance and total value. A headline price or a long warranty number alone does not establish the best fit for your home.

Does a roof leak always mean I need a replacement?

No. A localized defect may be repairable. Ask the roofer to show the problem, explain the condition of the surrounding roof and put the options in writing. Trust Proof starts with an inspection so the recommendation can be tied to your roof rather than a preset sales pitch.

What does Trust Proof’s replacement warranty stack mean?

Trust Proof provides a separate 20-year in-house workmanship warranty on roof replacements, subject to its written terms. Applicable IKO Dynasty coverage includes a Limited Lifetime manufacturer warranty and a 15-year Iron Clad protection period for eligible original individual owners of single-family homes. Product, ownership, installation, exclusions and transfer conditions matter; the periods are not added together.

Will Trust Proof automatically match a lower roof replacement quote?

No. Our Best Price & Value Guarantee promises a documented comparison and written offer based on comparable scope and value. Bring a current written competing replacement quote before signing our contract. It is not an unconditional lowest-price promise or automatic price match. The full conditions appear above.

Can I book an inspection before deciding whom to hire?

Yes. Book Trust Proof’s free 3D roof inspection or call (959) 333-8569 to discuss your home. There is no obligation to hire us. We will explain the findings and the next step so you can make an informed decision.
