What Our Warranties Actually Cover
Two written warranties on every replacement, one on every repair. Here is what each one covers, and the one piece of fine print, stated plainly.

Roof replacement: two warranties, side by side
In-House 20-Year Leak-Proof Warranty
Covers the workmanship. If the roof leaks because of how it was installed, we fix it. Written into the contract and honored by Trust Proof Roofing directly, so there is no third party to chase.
Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty
Covers the shingles as a product, on the manufacturer’s terms. Registration is part of the paperwork we hand over at the end of every replacement.
Most roofing complaints in Connecticut come down to a workmanship problem with nobody standing behind it. That is the gap the in-house warranty closes: the company that installed the roof is the company on the hook for it, in writing, for twenty years.
Roof repairs: 1-year leak-proof warranty
Every repair, from a single pipe boot to a full flashing rebuild, carries a written 1-year leak-proof warranty on the repaired area. If the spot we fixed leaks again within a year, we come back at no charge.
Common questions
What does the 20-year leak-proof warranty cover?
Workmanship on a full roof replacement. If the roof we installed leaks because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it. It is written into your contract, held by Trust Proof Roofing directly, and separate from the manufacturer warranty on the shingles themselves.
Is there fine print?
One line that matters: coverage is prorated after year 15. Years 1 through 15 are full coverage; years 16 through 20 step down. Damage from causes outside the installation, such as a fallen tree, is an insurance matter rather than a workmanship one.
What covers the shingles themselves?
The manufacturer’s Lifetime Limited Warranty covers the shingles as a product. Manufacturer terms are set by the manufacturer, not by us, and registration paperwork is part of every replacement we hand over.
What warranty comes with a repair?
Every repair carries a written 1-year leak-proof warranty on the repaired area. If the spot we fixed leaks again within a year, we return and make it right at no charge.
Do I need to do anything to keep the warranty valid?
Keep your copy of the contract and let us know about a problem when you first notice it. Normal maintenance, such as keeping gutters clear, is the homeowner’s side of the deal.
